I am a qualified architect-engineer, having graduated from the Polytechnic University of Volos in 2005. I hold a post-master's degree in history and theory of architecture from the National Technical University of Athens (2008). I pursued a career as an architect in various firms in Greece and abroad before committing to research and teaching.

In 2016, I defended my doctoral thesis on the analogy between music and architecture in the work of Iannis Xenakis (Paris 8). This research was funded by several private and public foundations and was awarded the Research Prize of the Academy of Architecture (Paris, 2017).

I published a monograph in Greek on the concept and practice of rhythm in the work of Iannis Xenakis (Athens: Nefeli, 2022). I also co-edited, with Angeliki Sioli, the collective volume The Sound of Architecture: Acoustic Atmospheres in Place (Leuven University Press, 2022). Currently, I am working on a monograph exploring the epistemology of architecture in relation to music.

I am passionate about writing as a medium, a great fan of literature, and I love listening to stories. My research is driven by a desire to explore how identities, disciplines, and knowledge are constructed.
